In the game (right away)
- Open Kampfire and sign in to the scout you want to delete.
- Tap Settings (the gear at the bottom right).
- Tap Delete account.
- Type your scout's name, then tap Delete forever.
Your scout is deleted at once, and the game signs you out.
Without the game
If you can't open the game any more, write to privacy@kampfire.app with the subject "Delete my account" and:
- your scout's name;
- your scout code, if you have it (Settings > Invite friends shows it, like KF-7QXM-2PRA).
We may ask you a question to make sure the account is yours, such as your guild's name or a monster in your team. We delete the account within 30 days and write back when it's done.
What is deleted
- Your scout: name, look, birthday and settings.
- Your monsters, items, teams and progress.
- Your place in your guild, your friends, hearts and blocks, and your in-game mail.
- Your chat messages and private messages, and reports made about your scout.
What we keep, and for how long
- Purchase records (once the Store sells with real money), without your scout or account: as long as tax law requires, usually 6 years in Canada.
- Reports you sent about other players, without your name, so moderators can still act on them.
- Encrypted backups: your information stays in our backups until they expire, within 12 months. We use them only to restore the game after a breakdown.
- Server logs (IP address, time, what was asked for): up to 90 days.
